Developing Trauma Sensitivity for Congregate Care Staff explores what it means to be trauma-sensitive towards yourself and in support of others, including others who work in congregate care, professional partners, and youth in care. This module is the second in a series designed to transition Pennsylvania's Child Welfare organizations into being Trauma-Informed. The sections within this module focus on the fundamentals of trauma sensitivity; the interplay of trauma on youth; trauma, relationships, and behavior; implementing trauma-informed principles to respond to trauma; self-care; and resources.
